Jones' solver and by my own (after I've given it enough RAM). Are you sure you've solved it with two freecells and not with more?

Regards,

-- Shlomi FishShlomi Fishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17923137194635702391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96099636168698788.post-50016784709639586842012-01-06T23:44:43.546-08:002012-01-06T23:44:43.546-08:00DonkeyBeliever: I've compiled a 64-bit version...DonkeyBeliever: I've compiled a 64-bit version of Freecell Solver from sources for Linux, and deployed it on an x86-64 High Performance Computing machine with 64 GB of RAM. A 64-bit version should be compilable on Windows 64-bit, but I know MSVC treats "longs" as 32-bit, which would kinda bit the point. Some parts of the code are not very 64-bit ready, like the counts of iterations and stored states, which would stop at roughly 2^31.

Anyway, I can suggest building it from source.Shlomi Fishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03931260511676488069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96099636168698788.post-87831199346160950642010-12-03T02:20:26.466-08:002010-12-03T02:20:26.466-08:00891 solved891 solvedBrainCrasherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10638345974236912219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96099636168698788.post-41756805773679746462010-09-25T20:37:47.374-07:002010-09-25T20:37:47.374-07:00Was a 64bit version ever produced for Windows to t...Was a 64bit version ever produced for Windows to test these unsolvable games? I'd be interested to try it myself I've got a 64bit machine running windows 7 and a ton of ram (8gb)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
